In Mondragone, the Carabinieri of the local Territorial Department reported a 29-year-old local man for laundering a stolen vehicle and unauthorized waste management.
In the courtyard of his home, the military found a Fiat Panda, registered to a rental company, which had been reported stolen to the Carabinieri of the Naples Chiaia Station on October 14 of last year.
In order to prevent the identification of the criminal origin, the man had altered the alphanumeric stamping on the car's chassis.
The military also proceeded against him for environmental crimes. Inside the courtyard of his home, on an area of about 100 square meters, he had set up an illegal mechanical workshop with typical equipment and where special waste such as scrap metal, used oil, batteries, cans of solvents and paints, plastic, mixed packaging and tires were stored in an uncontrolled manner.
