A twelve-year-old stabbed by a peer, another minor in hospital with a broken nose, two foreigners injured in two attempted robberies.
There are too many cases of violence between very young people in Napoli. The so-called trivial reasons, probably a glance or a word too many, caused the knife attack on a twelve-year-old by a peer, a few steps from Piazza Municipio, in the heart of the city.
The two, who probably knew each other by sight, were walking along Via San Giacomo with other friends when an argument broke out. One of the twelve-year-olds remained on the ground, wounded by multiple stabs, first taken to the Pellegrini hospital and then admitted with a red code to the Santobono pediatric hospital, in serious but not life-threatening conditions.
Thanks to the testimonies and the images of the video surveillance, the carabinieri identified and tracked down in a short time the person responsible, who will be reported to the judicial authorities and social services.
Fight at Mezzocannone: 16-year-old with broken nose
Investigations are still underway to find the assailant of another minor, a 16-year-old who, again after a fight in via Mezzocannone, suffered a fractured nasal septum and ended up in hospital with a prognosis of 25 days. During this very long night, two attempted robberies were also recorded, which ended with the reactions and wounding of the victims, both foreigners.
The first episode involved a citizen of the Kazakhstan, 26 years old, wounded in the back with a knife by two criminals and admitted to the Pellegrini hospital. A 21 year old tourist from Thailand, suffered a fractured jaw: he was apparently hit, or fell violently on the pavement, after an attempted robbery that took place in via Carbonara.
