Another earthquake in Campi Flegrei.
The seismographs of the Vesuvius Observatory recorded at 2,55 am a shock of magnitude 2.3 on the Richter scale with epicentre in the Solfatara area with geographical coordinates (lat, lon) 40.8260, 14.1420 to a depth of 2 km.
The earthquake was felt by the population in the upper area of the city of Pozzuoli but also in Bagnoli, in the Pisciarelli area, on the seafront of via Napoli and in Agnano.
Static checks were started this morning by the fire brigade and Civil Protection: at the moment there are no reports of damage to people or things.
The observatory warns that these are normal aftershocks and that the situation is under control.
