Eav, the transport holding company that manages the Circumvesuviana, asked the Provincial Committee for Order and Security to send law enforcement personnel to the station Napoli Garibaldi next weekend, June 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
In fact, during the long weekend next weekend which coincides with the Republic Day, “a high number of travellers is expected on the Eav Vesuvian lines due to tourist commuting towards the Sorrento peninsula”, is underlined in a note published by the organization.
“In order to protect the company and the users, who are crowding stations and trains these days, from petty crime and vandalism, Eav – in addition to deploying all possible resources – has requested the deployment of law enforcement personnel”, concludes the transport holding.
