Following the findings of the Operational Security Group held last Wednesday, "the municipal administration, through the Local Police Department of Maria Rosaria Rotondi, has issued the ordinance regarding the traffic ban in via Armando Fabi on the occasion of the Frosinone football match - Napoli scheduled for Saturday 19 August at 18.30 at the “Benito Stirpe” municipal stadium.
This is stated in a note from the municipality of Frosinone. A traffic ban has therefore been established for all vehicles, from 15.30:XNUMX p.m. until no longer needed, in Via Fabi from the Viale Volsci roundabout to the Hospital entrance roundabout.
The 24 new surveillance cameras installed by the Municipality of Frosinone to monitor the area surrounding the 'Benito Stirpe' stadium were turned on this afternoon: with the new equipment, the video surveillance installed in the stadium area includes a total of 60 devices, connected by a network of 11 antennas plus 4 sectoral ones.
The images flow into 2 network video recorders: one in the Gruppo Operativo Sicurezza room in the stadium where 4 large screens allow you to keep everything under control; another also takes the images to the dedicated control station in the Police Headquarters.
The positioning of the new cameras was agreed upon by the technicians of the mayor Riccardo Mastrangeli with the specialists of the police commissioner Domenico Condello. “The installation of additional cameras in the Stirpe area – declared the councilor for technological innovation and smart city, Alessandra Sardellitti – was followed by our Ced office. The route of the supporters in the Stirpe stadium will be completely monitored, to guarantee safety as well as to provide the police with an effective tool”.
The 'baptism of fire' for the new facility will be on Saturday during the championship debut against Napoli. "The enhancement of video surveillance to monitor the area of the Stirpe stadium - explained Mayor Mastrangeli - has reconciled the need for security with those of decorum and hospitality".
