He discovers a thief in his house and at 90 years old manages to scare him away. Grandpa 'courage' in Sannio, in Montesarchio: he saw a stranger rummaging through the wardrobe and despite this he did not back down but tried to reach the room where the theft was taking place.
The thief, seeing that he had been discovered, escaped by breaking a window. The carabinieri started the search and following the blood traces of the injured thief, they arrived at the home of a criminal.
His hand was bandaged, there was blood on the doorknob and he was found in possession of 21 keys belonging to his ninety-year-old grandfather. The man, known to the police for similar precedents and considered responsible for aggravated theft, was placed under house arrest.
