It happened late yesterday afternoon in Villa Literno, in the province of Caserta, where a twenty-three year old Nigerian woman, in an evident state of psychophysical alteration, attacked two brothers who were stopped, on board their car, at the intersection between via Diaz and via Gallinelle.
The two young men, a twenty-six year old and a twenty-nine year old from Villa Literno, were literally overwhelmed by the fury of the Nigerian woman who, for no apparent reason, armed with a bottle, hit the twenty-six year old on the head, causing a lacerated wound. She then turned her anger against the twenty-nine year old, who intervened to defend his brother, hitting him with slaps and bites on his left arm. Only the immediate intervention of the Carabinieri of the local station allowed them to stop the woman who, at the sight of them, tried to violently attack them.
The two victims were treated in the emergency room of the Pineta Grande clinic in Castel Volturno, and discharged shortly afterwards with a prognosis of 7 days.
The Nigerian, illegal on the national territory, was arrested and will have to answer for bodily harm and resisting a public official. She was accompanied to the prison in Pozzuoli and made available to the competent judicial authority.
