This is what the investigating judge of Benevento ordered against a man seriously suspected of the crime of mistreatment in the family and personal injuries.
The investigations, coordinated by the Benevento Public Prosecutor's Office and carried out by the Carabinieri of the Vitulano station, began following the complaint-report filed by the suspect's wife on September 13.
In the complaint, the woman complained of having been mistreated since the beginning of the marriage, with daily insults, controlling behavior, dispositions on how she should dress and obsessive control of her cell phone.
Furthermore, the woman was beaten continuously; the last episode occurred on September 12, outside the commercial establishment managed by the woman who suffered injuries that were judged to heal in 20 days.
The couple's children, some of whom are minors, confirmed the father's behavior toward their mother, claiming that the situation had become "unsustainable" and that they too witnessed the father's harassing, violent, and denigrating behavior toward their mother. The investigating judge also ordered the suspect to be given an electronic bracelet.
