Checks continue in the province of Avellino to prevent home burglaries especially in the municipalities of Sturno, Montemiletto and Venticano. In Sturno the Carabinieri intercepted two criminals from Naples who were proposed for the mandatory expulsion order.
In Montemiletto, a patrol put to flight a gang of thieves who were about to tamper with the electrical system of a supermarket. In Grottaminarda, two Neapolitans aged 27 and 31, both with criminal records for property crimes, caught in a suspicious attitude near some homes, were sent away with a deportation order.
During the checks, eight people, aged between 21 and 40, were reported to the Prefecture of Avellino as habitual users of narcotic substances.
