The defendants must answer for aggravated fraud for the obtaining of public funds, in attempted and consummated form, for having generated, transferred or offset non-existent tax credits relating to the 'facade bonus'.
The investigation by the financial police of the Agropoli Company (Salerno) was born from the analysis of anomalous financial transactions carried out by a newly formed administrative consultancy company, without any logistical-business structure, resources or dependent personnel, which, after having changed its corporate purpose from 'other administrative consultancy activities' to 'realization of building works and construction of residential buildings', began to generate tax credits for over 12 million for building recovery works apparently carried out between the provinces of Salerno and Lecce, in favor of its clients.
The administrative documentation required to access the invoice discount or the credit transfer was artfully prepared by professionals, such as surveyors and engineers, and with the conscious participation of the recipients of the works.
The intervention blocked the circulation of false tax credits for over 10 million euros, preventing their future compensation to the detriment of the Treasury, while the seals affected current accounts, cars and real estate for 2,5 million euros.
