The Carabinieri of the Company of Monza they reported at large to the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office Milan a young man originally from Campania for attempted fraud the elderly.
The events occurred in Brugherio (MB) where a 90-year-old woman received a phone call from an individual.
The latter, pretending to be her son, told her that he had bought a 'package' and asked theelderly to collect 1.800 euros to give to the postman, who would soon arrive at the house for the delivery. In the meantime, the old woman was also called by the fake postman who threatened to call the police and have her son arrested if she did not pay the requested sum.
Suspicious of the circumstance, the woman first made sure with the help of relatives that her son was not expecting any package and then notified the police. When the boy showed up at the house to collect the money, the military were waiting for him and identified him and reported him. The minor did not resist.
