Monte di Procida – Armed Forces Day: the Vice Prefect, Giovanni Lucchese (pictured), as Extraordinary Commissioner of the municipality, will plan the commemorative event of the National Unity Day and Armed Forces Day.
The opening speech and the ceremony took place in the Church, due to the calamitous events. Students, teachers, all municipal employees, military and civil authorities and of course the entire Community participated.
The vice prefect Giovanni Lucchese, an upright state official, has been the new prefectural commissioner of the Municipality of Monte di Procida for a few months. He was appointed by the prefect of Naples, Claudio Palomba, following the resignation of 9 councilors out of a total of 16.
