Kicking off on November 7th and 8th with “Rapito” by Marco Bellocchio in the presence of Mayor Manfredi and actor Russo Alesi.
Actor Fausto Russo Alesi is the first major guest of the Arci Movie Cineforum, a historic festival hosted in the Pierrot cinema in Ponticelli, in the eastern area of Naples. The XXXIII edition of the festival kicks off on Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 November 2023 with screenings of 'Rapito' in the presence of the artist, Mayor Gaetano Manfredi and other personalities.
Marco Bellocchio's work is the first of twenty-five films that Arci Movie - a historic Neapolitan association involved in the audiovisual and educational fields - brings to the big screen of the hall in via De Meis, completely renovated and more welcoming, in the presence of directors, actors, authors and other protagonists of the seventh art, entertainment and culture.
The Mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi will be present at the screening at 18 pm on Wednesday 8th. The next appointment, at 21 pm, will feature the actor Fausto Russo Alesi, part of the cast of Bellocchio's acclaimed film.
The subscription to the Arci Movie Cineforum 2023/2024 costs 50 euros. The card, in addition to participation in the twenty-five evenings at Pierrot, allows free entry to the initiatives promoted by the national Arci network and opens the doors of the Mediateca 'Il Monello' through the loan of over seven thousand films. It is possible to join the festival at the Pierrot cinema (via De Meis 58) or by reaching the Arci Movie association (in via De Meis 221) from 10 am to 13 pm from Monday to Friday.
