Monday 20 November at 19.00 pm, at the Grenoble Institute Napoli, Via Crispi 86, solidarity concert for the Sector Primero Asylum of San Salvador.
They will perform: Daniela del Monaco (voice) and Enrico Massa (pianist) in music by Bernstein and Webber; Paola Volpe (pianist) and Antonella Ippolito (voice) in pieces by Schubert, Debussy and Weill; the piano quartet Contamination (Giampietro Gemito, Alex Manzo, Gabriele Ottaiano, Francesco Sforza) in Non solo … due mani; a group of young and talented singers (Rossella D'Apice, Sara Iorio, Andrea Mocerino, Yukie Moriyama, Pasquale Riccio, Gabriele Rossi, Rosa Chiara Scala, Flavia Scognamiglio), accompanied on the piano by Giovanni Petrone, who will sing famous Neapolitan songs.
Lo show It aims to raise awareness and funds for the Sector Primero Nursery School in San Salvador, which the Marco Mascagna Association has adopted for 32 years.
The nursery takes in children from a shanty town that arose on the former waste dump of San Salvador: managed with Montessori pedagogical methods, it also offers them three meals a day.
