Checks in view of the Christmas intensified for the carabinieri of the company Napoli Center. During an inspection at a production laboratory in the Montecalvario area, the Carabinieri fined the legal representative of an important confectionery company in the city.

During the operation, several irregularities emerged regarding the HACCP discipline, as well as the traceability and conservation of some foods. Following the findings, approximately 500 kilos of food and imposed fines amounting to 4500 € total.

Following the violations found, the laboratory's activity was temporarily suspended, putting a stop to production activities in view of the Christmas holidays. The Carabinieri of the company Napoli The Center will continue to carry out checks to ensure food safety and compliance with current regulations.
