At first glance, it appears to be a common silver metal pen; however, in the eyes of an expert, it turns out to be a barrel capable of firing .22 caliber bullets. This unusual object was discovered by the Carabinieri of the operational section of Greek's tower during a search conducted in a warehouse attributable to Giuseppe Formicola, a 45 year old individual already known to the police and resident in Herculaneum.
During the search operation, the military did not limit themselves to finding only the pen-gun. In the garden associated with the warehouse, 9 100-gram blocks of hashish and 230 grams of vacuum-packed cocaine were discovered. Another 90 grams of hashish and 90 bullets of various calibers were also found in the warehouse.
At the apartment of Tingling, 14 bullets and 35 grams of cocaine were found. Following these discoveries, the 45-year-old was arrested on charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing, receiving stolen goods and possession of weapons and ammunition of war. He is currently in prison, awaiting trial.
