**Gianni Zanni Exhibition: The Space of the Sacred at the FRaC Museum in Baronissi**
The FRaC-Baronissi Museum hosts the exhibition “Lo Spazio del Sacro” by Gianni Zanni, on display until April 3. Curated by Massimo Bignardi and Carlo Pecoraro, the exhibition is part of the FOTOGRAFIA24 review, presenting thirty works by the Apulian artist that explore the theme of the sacred through photography.
Zanni captures popular rituals of Holy Week in Puglia and reinterprets Leonardo's "The Last Supper" in a still life style. The photographs show the complexity of memory and perception related to faith in contemporary culture. The artist uses darkness and plays of light to create evocative images that touch the boundary between the sacred and the profane.
The FOTOGRAFIA24 exhibition, promoted by the FRaC Museum in collaboration with the Rossi Foundation and the ARCOS Museum, also presents monographic exhibitions by Antonio Caporaso, Alfo Fiorillo and Chiara Fossati. Each photographer offers a unique look at the present through their works, exploring different themes with a creative and innovative style.
Gianni Zanni, a native of Bari, has been pursuing his artistic research in the field of photography for decades. His works are exhibited in renowned museums and cultural institutions. The exhibition at the FRaC Museum in Baronissi is just one of the many goals achieved by this talented photographer throughout his career.
The exhibition continues with other exhibitions of emerging and established artists in the panorama of Italian photography, offering the public a wide variety of styles and themes to explore. The art of photography is constantly renewed, offering new perspectives and visual stimuli that fuel contemporary cultural debate.
