The staff of the PS Police Station of Torre Annunziata executed a precautionary order issued by the GIP of the local Court at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office against a 40-year-old man accused of aggravated extortion continued to the detriment of his elderly parents.
The investigations conducted by the Prosecutor's Office have highlighted numerous episodes of extortion, threats and damage committed by the son against his parents, due to his addiction to narcotics.
The man reacted violently to requests for money to support his drug addiction, causing tension and fear within the family.
The police station's interventions documented damage to the parents' property and their homes, caused by the son's tantrums.
The victims found themselves forced to live in a state of prostration due to the boy's constant requests for money, which often culminated in violent reactions.
The precautionary measure is the result of a coordinated action between the competent authorities to guarantee the safety of the injured parties and put an end to the harassing and threatening conduct carried out by the violent son.
