Casavatore. Culture and music: the singer Fiorenza Calogero performs in Casavatore.
As part of the POC Campania Divina project, shared with other municipalities, sponsored by the Campania Region and organized by the Municipality of Casavatore, for the “Intra Terram Neapolitanam” festival, on Wednesday 29 May at 20.00:XNUMX pm at the parish church of San Giovanni Battista in Casavatore, with free admission, there will be the “DonnaMadonna” concert with Fiorenza Calogero.
The talented performer from Castellammare di Stabia, for years, through careful research, has always confronted a repertoire that goes well beyond her Campania roots. Having begun her artistic career under the guidance of the great Roberto De Simone, and continuing with collaborations with Enzo Avitabile, which also led her to be a finalist for the prestigious Tenco Prize, she has also participated in important film productions, including the film “Passione” by John Turturro, “Qui rido io” by Mario Martone and the TV series “Il Commissario Ricciardi” directed by Alessandro D'Alatri based on the best seller by Maurizio De Giovanni.
Her vocal timbre, her siren song have made her the only singer in the world to have held a concert inside the Blue Grotto on the island of Capri, for the “Il Canto delle Sirene” Festival directed by Geppy Gleijeses.
Accompanying her in this concert will be Marcello Vitale, one of the very few virtuosos in the world on the chitarra battente, also author of the musical elaborations and Michele Bonè on the guitar. Also within the cultural project “Casavatore in arte” financed by the metropolitan city, on Saturday 1 May at 10,30:XNUMX at the Petrucci park there will be the Winx show.
The goal is to make children dream and to show their stars up close dancing on stage, playing with the choreography of all the children present. At the end of the musical show the Winx will take souvenir photos with the children. The events were organized and strongly desired by the Pd councilor Elsa Picaro, supported by the mayor Luigi Maglione and the entire municipal administration.
