The workers of Jabil in Marcianise, with a second letter sent to the President of the Campania Region Vincenzo De Luca, ask for his support in view of the meeting to verify the company dispute, scheduled for Monday 27 May at the Ministry of Economic Development (MiSE).
In the letter, signed by the RSU union delegates on behalf of the 420 workers of the plant Jabil of Marcianise, the importance of the presence and support of the Campania Region at the meeting is underlined.
The workers recall previous demonstrations and meetings with De Luca, and ask that the Region take a strong and determined position to defend the industrial garrison and their families.
Workers' concerns:
Workers express concern over Jabil's decision to close the Marcianise plant and leave Italy. They stress that the site still has great potential and ask the Region to take action to find solutions that will allow them to relaunch investments and orders.
