Barano d'Ischia. The Carabinieri of the Ischia company intervened this morning in via Terone Vatoliere, in the Municipality of Barano, for the sad discovery of a lifeless woman.
The body of the 33-year-old, of Ukrainian origin and a long-time resident in the area, lay at the foot of a cliff about two metres high, not far from her home.
The Carabinieri intervened on site and began investigations to reconstruct the dynamics of the incident and ascertain the causes of death.

At the moment, the most likely hypothesis is that of a tragic accident, but we are waiting for the intervention of the coroner to have a definitive picture.
The magistrate on duty has been informed and will shortly visit the scene of the incident.
