38-year-old arrested in Mondragone – A disturbing episode led to the arrest of a 38-year-old of Albanian origin, resident in Mondragone, who was banned from approaching his ex-partner and monitored by an electronic bracelet. The man, ignoring the precautionary measures, took off the device, damaged it and entrusted it to his teenage daughter, ordering her to hand it over to her mother, his 32-year-old ex-partner.
The control system immediately reported the tampering of the bracelet to the Carabinieri operations center. The military personnel of the radiomobile section of the Territorial Department of Mondragone rushed to the place indicated by the GPS coordinates, but, instead of finding the 38-year-old, they found themselves in front of the couple's daughter. The young woman was holding the bracelet with the father's instructions to deliver it to her mother, with what appears to have been a gesture of intimidation.
After discovering the device in the girl's possession, the Carabinieri began searching for the 38-year-old, who was located shortly thereafter at his home, clearly impaired by alcohol abuse. The man was arrested for violating the restraining order and transferred to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison.
