Sidewalk Opera: A Tribute to Street Music
Saturday 26 October, in the hall Domus Ars of Naples, all attention will be on “L'Opera da tavolo”, with the talented singer Raphael Converso. For the occasion, the arrangements and orchestrations are curated by maestro Roberto De Simone. Suspended between Kurt Weill and Raffaele Viviani, the project proposes an exploration of street music through ffigliola and fronna songs, percussions, and accordions. Converso states: “It is a concert with a theatrical edge… in which they are treated musically in a Weilonian style”. The performance will also include a special version of Schubert's Ave Maria in both German and Neapolitan.
