Battipaglia. A 28-year-old man is hospitalized with critical illness at the Santa Maria della Speranza Hospital following a violent impact with the guardrail around 3:00 a.m. last night at the Battipaglia exit of the A2 Mediterranean motorway. At the wheel of his Audi A1, for reasons still unclear, the man lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road and collided with the barrier.
The impact was so violent that it caused serious injuries to the young man, who was urgently assisted by the Alfa and India ambulances of Pontecagnano del Vopi. The paramedics immediately stabilized his condition and transported him to the hospital, where he underwent all the necessary tests.
