Pomigliano. Dear Santa, this Christmas I wish Trasnova in Pomigliano d'Arco wouldn't lay off its workers. Stellantis made my Christmas sad because my dad and grandfather are fighting for their jobs. I also ask you to let my dad sleep with us again. I hope my dream comes true for me and for all the children in our situation.
The letter placed on the Christmas tree outside the Stellantis gates is signed by Raffaella Mosella, the daughter and granddaughter of two of the many Trasnova workers in Pomigliano who received layoff letters yesterday and who have been protesting outside the plant gates for several days, blocking production.
Yesterday they received solidarity from the secretary of the Democratic Party, Elly Schlein accompanied by MPs Arturo Scotto and Sandro Ruotolo, MEP. On Tuesday, there will be a meeting at the Ministry of Economic Development with Minister Urso, who has urgently called a meeting with the unions and Stellantis.

It's sad to see that many people are losing their jobs, I hope the situation can improve soon. Raffaella's letter is a nice gesture, and makes us reflect on how important work is for families.
