Aversa – The Carabinieri of the Parete Station have arrested two 17-year-olds, both Neapolitans, accused of having carried out a series of armed robberies in post offices and supermarkets in the province of Caserta.
The investigations, conducted between September and October 2024, allowed the two boys to be identified as responsible for at least three robberies, including an attempted robbery at a post office in Casaluce and two robberies committed, one at the same post office of Parete and the other at the Eurospin supermarket in San Marcellino.
In these criminal actions, the young people, disguised and armed with a knife or gun, managed to steal over 2.000 euros in cash.
Thanks to the images from the surveillance cameras, the testimonies of the victims and a careful analysis of the crime scenes, the Carabinieri they managed to reconstruct the dynamics of the robberies in great detail and identify those responsible.
The operation, conducted in close collaboration with the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office of Naples, allowed the two young people to be brought to justice and to restore a sense of security to the citizens of the Aversa area.
