SALERNO – “We will continue our work in the interest of the community, focusing on the environment, public transport and health; we will not be distracted by political squabbles and internal controversies”: thus the president of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca.
The governor reiterated his commitment during the conference “Anffas 60 years of history with an eye to the future”, held in Salerno. De Luca announced that the construction site for the new Ruggi hospital in Salerno will soon be delivered, a crucial project for the strengthening of regional healthcare. Furthermore, he recalled the initiative planned for next February 1st, at 18:XNUMX pm, at the Cathedral of Naples: a demonstration dedicated to peace and the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
“We are engaged in an immense effort to achieve fundamental goals, particularly in the health sector”, De Luca stressed, emphasizing the importance of improving public services and assistance to the population. The governor avoided commenting on journalists' questions regarding a possible conversation with the secretary of the Democratic Party, Elly Schlein, following the government's challenge to the regional law introducing the possibility of a third term for regional presidents.
