The 55th edition of the Giffoni Film Festival is ready to start, following the official juries draw that took place yesterday afternoon. Scheduled for July 17-26, 2025, the event will welcome 4500 young people from over 40 nations and 400 Italian locations.
These participants will be divided into the categories Elements+3, Elements+6, Elements+10, Generator+13, Generator+16 and Generator+18. The general director of Giffoni, Jacopo Gubitosi, inaugurated the selection during a live broadcast on social media, highlighting the significant numbers of the edition: 290 children will participate in the Elements+3 category, 1000 registered for each of the Elements+6 and +10 categories, 630 participants in the Generator+13 and +16 sections, and 230 for the Generator+18 category. In addition, the festival will include the Parental Experience jury, the +18 Workshops and the Impact section, dedicated to young adults between 18 and 35 years old.

Becoming a juror at Giffoni means becoming part of a dynamic international community. The festival represents an opportunity to meet, learn and share experiences, together with over 60 directors and authors who will present their works. The events include previews and exclusive meetings with important figures from the worlds of cinema, television and the web, making it an essential event for those who want to experience cinema as a protagonist.

Those selected will receive the instructions and forms needed to complete the registration by February 28. For the Generator sections, residents within 35 kilometers of Giffoni, willing to host jurors, will participate without the need for selection. The entire participation has over 5.500 registered among the various categories and activities.
