Baiano – An investigation conducted by the Guardia di Finanza has led to the reporting of 37 people, including teachers e school staff, in the context of alleged irregularities in the management of mandatory documents of educational institutions.
The investigation, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office, has highlighted suspected manipulations in the Registry of class councils, fundamental data for the admission of students to state exams.
According to investigators, the changes would have had the objective of allowing the promotion of some students who did not comply with the minimum attendance requirements set by current legislation. The coordinator of teaching and educational activities was also involved.
In addition to the school staff, the representative of the company that manages the institute has also been reported to the Judicial Authority for alleged violations in the archiving of mandatory documents. The investigation is still ongoing and further developments are awaited.
