Out of place irony by Alessandro Cattelan at DopoFestival with a parody of Montagne Verdi by Marcella Bella transformed into Montagne bianche with references to Naples and Roccaraso. Which triggered a reaction that was certainly not one of happiness by Rocco Hunt who was present at the time.
And so “the invasion of Roccaraso” landed at the 75th Sanremo Festival, in the second evening. Alessandro Cattelan, in the late-night “Dopofestival”, took care of bringing it once again, on TV.
At a certain point in his broadcast, Cattelan says: “Now a current news item that has been in the news lately… It concerns the discovery of a new tourist location, Roccaraso, which has been invaded this year…” Then, asking Marcella Bella for permission, he pulls a song out of his hat that transforms “Montagne verdi” into “Montagne bianche”.
The lyrics of the song about Roccaraso
“I remember white mountains,
but Trentino is so far away
which takes a day from Naples,
one thousand euros round trip,
then one day Rita's TikTok
gave meaning to my life,
I who have always seen only the sea
I will finally be able to ski.
One hundred buses on the highway
there is no place to park,
and the snow has now melted,
we will come back another time.
In Roccaraso”.

Cattelan's parody was interesting but a bit confusing. I don't know if it was appropriate to put Naples and Roccaraso together in this way. In fact, Rocco Hunt's reaction seems justified because it wasn't very appropriate.
Anything to belittle Naples!! I don't follow the Festival much and never the Dopofestival, but this news irritated me!!! Many people went to Roccaraso and so what? Among them there were also some uncivilized people and so what? Aren't there in the rest of Italy and the world? It's Naples that's annoying... pure envy?
