The Teatro Area Nord in Naples is preparing to host the show “OUT”, presented by the Unterwasser group. The event will take place on Saturday, February 15 at 19:00 pm and Sunday, February 16 at 18:00 pm, included in the series #ConfiniAperti2025.
The Unterwasser group, composed of Valeria Bianchi, Aurora Buzzetti and Giulia De Canio, is recognized for its innovative combination of puppet theatre and visual arts. Their performance offers spectators an experience that transforms the material on stage, influencing the audience's perceptions according to the principles of cinematic editing. The focus is on artistic objects, images, sculptures and moving matter.
The show “OUT”
“OUT” stands out as a visual and multidisciplinary representation, conceived and directed by Valeria Bianchi, Aurora Buzzetti and Giulia De Canio. It presents itself as a coming-of-age fairy tale, narrated through puppet theatre and aimed at an adult audience, but also suitable for children. The plot leads the protagonist beyond the domestic walls, a metaphor for personal certainties, towards an external world with its challenges. The poetic techniques used in the story create a dreamlike atmosphere, bringing universal messages to the stage through visual archetypes.
Access to the theatre
To ensure easy access to the Teatro Area Nord, the Municipality of Naples has arranged a shuttle service, the Polibus. The event and the activities of the theater receive the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Campania Region and the Municipality of Naples.
