Two years after the passing of Vincenzo Spera, the Chamber of Deputies hosted a commemoration ceremony in his honor. The event, which took place in the Press Room, celebrated the legacy of the well-known promoter and President of Assomusica, a role he held for over a decade.
Homage to the Visionary Promoter
The tribute was organized by the President of the Chamber's Culture Commission, Hon. Federico Mollicone, in collaboration with Assomusica. The initiative saw the participation of various institutions, artists and personalities from the world of culture and entertainment. During the ceremony, Mollicone underlined Spera's indelible contribution to live music, highlighting his commitment to supporting the sector during the pandemic, as well as his role as a leader at an international level.
Memories and Recognitions
Carlo Parodi, current President of Assomusica, praised Spera's determination to promote scholarships and other initiatives to strengthen the music industry. During the event, various interventions came to life through the voice of Valeria Saggese, who read contributions from important personalities in the sector.
Among the participants were also the journalist Renato Tortarolo and other cultural figures. Video tributes by artists such as Alfa, Francesco Baccini, Tony Esposito and Peppe Barra further honored the memory of Spera. The ceremony concluded with the delivery of a commemorative medal to the Spera family and a plaque in the name of the Municipality of Salvitelle, recognitions that underline the importance of his work in the Italian cultural panorama.
