Naples – The Carabinieri of the Naples station Capodimonte They reported two men, aged 38 and 36, believed to be responsible for separate incidents of theft that occurred near the Capodimonte park.
The first, 38 years old, is suspected of having forced entry to a restaurant on Viale Privato dei Tigli, from which he allegedly stole a few euros from the cash register, after having damaged the door.
The second, 36 years old, is accused of stealing bottles of ketchup and collectible beers, stolen from a club in Viale dei Pini. The man was identified thanks to video surveillance images and stopped during the night while driving his car, used as an illegal taxi to take young people returning from the Neapolitan nightlife.
During the check, the officers found an 18-centimeter long switchblade and several burglary tools in the car, which were immediately seized. The man was also reported for possession of these objects in separate documents.
The investigations, conducted through a careful analysis of video surveillance images, allowed us to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the two thefts and identify the alleged perpetrators.

Reading the article I realized that thefts in Capodimonte park is a serious problem. I hope that the authorities take measures to improve security, because it is important to protect public places from these risky situations.
