Pozzuoli– On behalf of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples, the Carabinieri of the Pozzuoli Company executed a precautionary custody order under house arrest against DM, 30 years old, and CA, 32 years old, investigated for aggravated personal injury in competition.

The order, issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples at the request of the IV Section of the Prosecutor's Office - Fasce Devoli, arises from a complex investigation started after the arrest of Claudio Amirante, accused of the attempted murder of his ex-partner, which took place on April 5th in via San Gennaro Agnano, in Pozzuoli.

According to the investigations conducted by the Company's Operations Section Carabinieri of Pozzuoli, the two suspects allegedly made an active and conscious contribution to the attack: blocking the escape route of the vehicle in which the victim was traveling with their car, scaring away the man who was with her and helping Amirante in his attempt to drag the woman into his car.

The charges against the two men are supported by serious evidence of guilt, collected during the preliminary investigations. It should be emphasized, however, that the precautionary measure does not imply a conviction: the suspects are presumed innocent until a final sentence is reached and may appeal through the means of appeal provided by law.
