From Friday 9 May, “Che meraviglie” will be available on the radio, the new unreleased single by Davide De Marinis, produced and arranged by Paolo Agosta, a song, already available digitally, which is on the soundtrack of the film “Sei sempre stata tu” (SAC Music).
“How wonderful is my new love song, a song that I care a lot about – says Davide De Marinis – because if in life we can live saying “WHAT A WONDER” we really live better. The wonder that we all have is a gift, we just need to nurture it and then give it away.”
“In the song and even more clearly in the video clip “Che Meraviglia” Davide De Marinis tells the story of Christian: a forty-year-old man, affected by compulsive fantasy syndrome (Maladaptive drydreaming), reflecting himself in the character who plays him in the story told in the short film entitled “Sei sempre stato tu” and taking on the role of the moment, of his current present, that is, a simple white pajama from an inmate of the mental pathology department. While in the film, the story is told in the form of a dialogue by Christian, the protagonist, who tells his story for the first time with his newfound young daughter, Zoe, Davide does it in music and words through this song of his. In the video clip, almost predominantly even compared to the film itself, the world of the street, of the homeless, is also highlighted, a social problem that I care a lot about. – says director Sasha Alessandra Carlesi – I liked the idea of telling them in a more light-hearted way than the film, while still maintaining a poetic, with that magic that belongs to all souls, despite in their case, the difficulties, the alcohol they are often addicted to, to fight their discomfort but also to fight the cold, then the mental illnesses they are often afflicted by. The video clip is signed by me and Simone Barletta because with his experience in the world of video clips and music it was an excellent combination to give life to my visions in a different way from the filmic one that mostly belongs to me.”

I listened to the new song by Davide De Marinis and it seems interesting to me. The theme of the video clip is touching, but I don't know if I can understand the message it wants to convey. The music is catchy, but it didn't particularly impress me.
