Naples lights up with rebellious sounds: the IVISIONATICI MUSIC FESTIVAL returns with an explosive stage. On May 9, the Neapolitan city will host the overwhelming semi-final of the IVISIONATICI MUSIC FESTIVAL at FOQUS – Fondazione Quartieri Spagnoli, an event that promises to shake up the Italian music scene with around 50 emerging artists ready to fight for glory.
Organized by the IVISIONATICI cultural association with the patronage of Nuovo IMAIE and the Municipality of Naples, this traveling festival – which will touch cities such as Rome, Milan, Bologna, Modena and Lecce – does not limit itself to promoting talents, but catapults them into the real world with a touch of healthy social provocation.
The Artists and the Jury
In this edition, a weighty jury composed of radio speaker Marta Martinez, journalists Giuliano Delli Paoli and Alessandro Di Liegro and radio speaker Silvio Martino will evaluate the artists, while speakers and hosts Riccardo Zianna and Eleonora Scaiola will hold the reins of the show. With a prize pool that in the last edition exceeded 30.000 euros, these emerging artists will not limit themselves to playing: they will fight to realize their musical projects in a context that does not allow half measures.
A Showcase That Causes a Sensation
At the opening, space for an initiative that doesn't mince its words: DONNE IN MUSICA, with a young Neapolitan singer-songwriter who will use her songs to spark debates on the role of women in the music industry. The MAREVIVO Environmental Foundation will also be there, ready to raise awareness of the ecological disaster of the seas, transforming the event into a bold mix of art and activism that could turn up the noses of the right-thinking. Registrations for the remaining stages of the fourth edition are still open: just visit the website www.ivisionatici.it and fill out the form in the REGISTRATION section to consult the rules and dive into this unbridled musical adventure.

The IVISIONATICI festival looks very interesting, but I don't know if I'll be able to go. There are many emerging artists who could offer something new and different. The jury seems competent, but the issue of women in music is important and I hope there will be a good debate.
