Napoli. “We have received a report of a completely destroyed ANM bus shelter in Barra, a neighborhood on the eastern outskirts of Naples. Someone smashed the windows, creating a mass of sharp glass that represents a danger to those waiting for the bus. In addition to no longer being able to use the shelter and the bench belonging to it, therefore, travelers also risk getting hurt by some uncivilized person. Unfortunately, what happened in Barra is a symptom of a worrying deviance. Violence and hooliganism are now accepted ways of doing things. We need to find solutions both on the safety level and on the educational level to ensure that the pockets of incivility are eliminated”. This is what the regional councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli said. “As regards the shelter, we have sent a note to the Municipality of Naples and to the ANM asking them to intervene to restore the usability of the stop as soon as possible. But we remain deeply saddened by the contempt that some individuals show towards their own city”.
