TAmong the many people to express their opinion on the new Super League is Pippo Baudo, who said: “No to the law of the strongest: there would be very little sporting spirit and a lot of noble supremacy”.
The thoughts of the well-known Italian TV personality reflect the opinion of most fans, who are against this new competition. He then continued by saying: "I like to see Juve play with all the teams and for me it was more exciting to see Juventus-Catania than Juventus-Real Madrid. And then, in this way, Maradona's Napoli or Totti's Roma would have been excluded from this Super League in the past... a real stink".

However, there is no lack of irony on social media, as happened on the profile of "Sorrento 1945”. The club wanted to joke about the Super League via a tweet; in fact, the post reads: “Sorrento 1945 announces that it will participate in the #SuperLeague”.
Even Fulvio Bonavitacola, vice president of Campania, joked about the issue: "For now the Super League is like the supercazzola, I don't know what it is exactly". With these words he expressed his disappointment towards this competition.
