Boscoreale. A 63-year-old woman, with a specific criminal record, was arrested in Naples for usury and extortion.
The investigation by the Carabinieri on behalf of the Torre Annunziata prosecutors led to the precautionary measure issued by the investigating judge after the complaint of the victim who in 2015 had obtained a loan of 3 thousand euros from the arrested woman.
The interest rates applied meant that in 2020 the victim had paid the woman 39 thousand euros without repaying the debt.

Witness accounts and documentation provided evidence to support the complaint, showing that the victim and her family had been threatened and harassed by the woman when they were unable to pay the loan installments.
