The places in the historic center today suffer from overbooking, not from a lack of tourists. We have a series of initiatives that we will push to deseasonalize the tourist offer and maintain it throughout the year. It is one of our goals".
"The reservations - observed the mayor - tell us that tourists will remain in Naples also in the coming months, it is an important signal for the city and for the economy of the city. The goal is to expand the city, make cultural proposals and visits to unknown places to ensure that these places become known first of all to Neapolitans, who often do not know them.
And then obviously that they also become places of further tourist attraction to move tourists to other parts of the city that are not visited today and instead deserve to be seen".
