The second edition of “TerrArdente – Nature&Environment – Culture, Art&Entertainment – Food and Wine” continues with a theatrical event, the event promoted by the Campi Flegrei Regional Park and organized by Artgarage under the artistic direction of Nando Paone.
The one-act play “In alto mare”, written by S. Mrozek and directed by Nando Paone who supervised the staging, will be performed on Sunday 26 June at 21.00:XNUMX pm at the Giardino del Parco Borbonico del Fusaro (Bacoli).
With Matteo Biccari, Roberta Cuozzo, Francesco Guardascione, Gaia Marino, Francesco Piciocchi, “In alto mare” is an apologia of power. The description of how the strongest, or so-called, dominates the “weak”, even making the latter grow aware of having sacrificed himself for the cause, an unaware victim.
Between the two is the character who embodies the turncoat, the weather vane, in short the one who passively accepts what is imposed on him by the system, as long as, at least apparently, it is to his own advantage. To represent the possibility of getting by, the two characters of the postwoman and the housekeeper, two entities out of time, who are eliminated by the "power", always able to subvert at will the events most inconvenient to him.
A one-act play that is scathing, ironic and at times even funny, which lays bare the weaknesses, strengths and chameleon-like attitudes of man within the system.
