Naples. Unwanted guests in the cemetery chapel of San Giovanni a Teduccio: rats.
Among the burial niches of the cemetery of San Giovanni a Teduccio there are 'strange' presences. They are not ghosts but rather rats. A lady posted a video in which he shows mice roaming around the cemetery chapel.
“I am a mother who lost her daughter a year and a half ago. Now I can’t go visit her at the cemetery because they sent me a video that shocked and terrified me. We relatives of the deceased complained to the leader of the congregation about the stench there, which has become oppressive with the heat.”
Regional councilor Francesco Emilio Borrelli also intervened on the matter: “Rats in a cemetery is something absurd. You can’t treat the deceased or their relatives like this. We have asked for an urgent intervention of rodent control and cleaning. We expect that they act quickly and that they take greater care and respect of the cemeteries”.
