Naples, Rolex robbery of a tourist in Santa Lucia: a thirty-year-old arrested while his accomplice is yet to be identified.
This morning, State Police personnel executed a custodial order issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office, against DME, 30 years old, considered a serious suspect in the crime of aggravated robbery committed with another individual yet to be identified.
Last July 8, an American tourist, while she was walking with her husband in via Solitaria (Santa Lucia district), was approached by two individuals who violently snatched from her wrist a Rolex watch worth 8.750 euros, before hastily fleeing on foot. In the circumstance, the victim suffered some abrasions on her arm.
Following an investigation activity, focused on the analysis of the video surveillance systems present in the area and on the identification of both the photo and the person carried out by the injured party, serious evidence of guilt against the suspect was collected.
