Castellammare di Stabia. Escapes house arrest and steals a car to go from Acerra to Castellammare di Stabia: arrested by the police.
VB, 35 years old from Acerra, was arrested last night by the agents of the general prevention office of the Castellammare Police Station after a long chase.
The man was on Corso Garibaldi when he noticed the police patrol and ran away fearing he would be discovered. The officers noticed the man's strange escape and chased him through the streets of the center. In Via Stanislao Pasquale Mancini the 35-year-old was stopped and searched, he had a car ignition key in his pocket.
The police, during the identification phase, confirmed that the key was from a vehicle found in via Casanova, which was stolen the same evening in Casalnuovo di Napoli. The man was under house arrest for receiving stolen goods and robbery in Casalnuovo.
The 35-year-old was arrested for evasion and resisting a public official and reported for receiving stolen goods. The stolen vehicle was returned to its rightful owner.
