On Saturday afternoon a man, an employee of a betting center di Ischia, went to the police station to report that he had been the victim of extortion; in particular, he said that the previous day, while he was working his shift, a boy, threatening him with a knife, had ordered him to proceed with some bets up to an amount of 1135 € without paying the relevant amount and then getting on an electric bike and fleeing.
Yesterday morning the officers of the local police station, thanks to the vision of the agency's video surveillance images and the descriptions provided by the victim in the complaint, while passing by Francesco Buonocore Street, they noticed the bicycle used by the criminal parked near a commercial activity and tracked him down and blocked him inside.
Furthermore, the police carried out a check at the young man's holiday home where they found the clothing used to commit the crime and a luxury watch whose provenance he was unable to explain.
