The jackpot of SuperEnalotto is the richest in Europe ahead of the 63 million of Eurojackpot and the 79 million of Euromillions. In the USA instead eyes are focused on Powerball and MegaMillions, which put on the table respectively 454 million and 494 million dollars – reports the Agimeg Agency.

SuperEnalotto will be celebrating its 3th birthday this year, on December 25, and has marked important chapters in Italian gaming history. The first historic win dates back to January 17, 1998, just a month and a half after its launch. That day, a lucky player from the province of Brescia took home 11,8 billion of the old lire.

Of the 124 jackpot awarded in the history of the SuperEnalotto, 18 were hit in Campania. On the second step of the podium is Lazio (16 jackpots), followed by Emilia Romagna with 13 jackpots.
