The investigating judge of the Court of Nocera Inferiore has validated the arrest of the seven fans of the Paganese who, according to the prosecution, would have participated in the clashes that took place on Sunday in Pagani before the kick-off of Paganese-Casertana.
Also confirmed was the precautionary measure of house arrest that had been carried out – in deferred flagrante delicto – on Monday evening by the Carabinieri and the police. For two other Casertana fans, however, the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere had validated the arrest, revoking the house arrest and replacing it with the obligation to sign in three times a week.
The suspects are accused to varying degrees of possession and throwing blunt objects and smoke bombs, resisting a public official, brawling, and devastation. Some also allegedly set fire to a bus carrying Casertana fans, which also damaged a building.
