It had been abandoned inside a cardboard box near the municipal cemetery. A Maremma Sheepdog puppy was saved by the forestry police in Lacedonia, in the province of Avellino.

The soldiers during a routine patrol of the territory, were attracted by the whimpers of the puppy of just over two months exposed to the cold and bad weather. After having fed him and taken him to the vet, the puppy was entrusted to a facility that made itself available to adopt him.
