Great literature and the most intense music will take to the stage at the Teatro Diana in Naples, in an exclusive show on Saturday 10 June at 15:30 pm to celebrate the Intercontinental Prize for Literary Art “Le Nove Muse”.
Some of the major protagonists of the literary, artistic and musical scene will take to the international stage of the Teatro Diana (via Luca Giordano, 64), which this year celebrates 90 years of activity.
During the ceremony, the awarding of prizes will be interspersed with moments of pure entertainment, with the participation of acclaimed artists, such as the violinist Ciro Formisano, capable like few others of blending poetry into music; Simone Lorenzini, who will enchant the Diana Theatre with his voice; the dancers of the National Dance Production Centre Körper with a modern dance performance; Filidei Catalano and Giuseppe Maddaloni with the typical Neapolitan music of Fisarmà, disseminators of the musical and folk traditions of the area; the duo Filippo Papa and Joan Joseph Barcelo with the performance of great emotional impact 'Lo sguardo di Eros'.
Some of the most authoritative voices in contemporary literature will be in Naples to be awarded the coveted “Le Nove Muse” Prize.
Announced by the Association 'Culturalmente Toscana e Dintorni', in collaboration with Ciesart, the Intercontinental Cenacolo 'Le Nove Muse', the Union Mundial de poetas por la paz y la libertad', Wikipoesia and with the patronage of the Campania Region, the Award is divided into four Sections.
For Section A Unpublished Poetry “Monte Elicona”, the winners are: 1st Prize Francesco D'EPISCOPO with “Incontro”, 2nd Prize ex aequo Elisabetta BIONDI DELLA SDRISCIA with “Una donna” and Domenico PONTICELLI with “Castello di sabbia”, 3rd Prize ex aequo Marcello REMIA with “La grande bellezza” and Sante SERRA with “Donbass, Capodanno 2023”.
For Section B Unpublished Fiction “Sorgente di Aganippe” (short story or essay): 1st Prize Sabrina PRIOLI with “Non finita mai“, 2nd Prize ex aequo Alessandra LANDI with “Lampi di genio“ and Serena GIULIANI with “SMERALDA Fuori dal Recinto (dentro la Vita)“, 3rd Prize ex aequo Lucia AMENDOLA with “Two little boys (Story of a depression)“ and Orsola FORTUNATI with “Quella del trauma“.
For Section C Published Poetry “Monte Parnaso”: 1st Prize Evaristo SEGHETTA with “Paradigma di esse“, 2nd Prize ex aequo Marisa COSSU with “Sintomi poetici” and Massimo DE SANTIS with “Donne di cristallo”, 3rd Prize ex aequo Maria Rosaria FRANCO with “L'immaginario della luna” and Enrichetta GIORNELLI with “Effigi… da un interno”.
For Section D Published Fiction and Non-Fiction “Source of Hippocrene: 1st Prize Fausto ALTAVILLA with “A Planet in a Nervous Breakdown“, 2nd Prize ex aequo Stefano GENTILI with “Nord e Sud“ and Giuseppe PETRARCA with “La città puntellata“, 3rd Prize ex aequo Angela PROCACCINI with “D“ and Francesco TESTA with “La bambola col tuppo“.
In addition to the Young Authors Award in Memory of Gabriele Galloni, this year the Special Schools Award in Memory of the teacher Laura Lazzerini will also be presented, which goes to the Third Grade PRIMARY SCHOOL of CAFAGGIOLA – IC ORTONOVO Luni (Sp), teachers: Stefania SCHIPANI and Elisa KMET, for the audio video story 'A Four-Legged Friend'.

At the discretion of the Jury, Special Awards, Lifetime Achievement Awards, and Culture Awards will be awarded to prominent Authors or Cultural Operators. Among these, the following will receive Excellence Awards: GIGI MARZULLO Lifetime Achievement Award, Francesco PATANÈ Actor of the Year, Consul Gennaro FAMIGLIETTI Culture, Vice-Consul Sara Lucía OÑA CHANGOLUISA Social Commitment and Culture, Olimpia NIGLIO Academic Diplomacy, Nino DANIELE Legality, Ermanno CORSI Journalism and Literary Criticism, Maja Herman SEKULIC International Literature, Lidia BARLETTA Library in the Clinic, Maria Pia SELVAGGIO Book of the Year.
Ottavia Piccolo is the Godmother of the Award, chaired by Marina Pratici. The President of the Jury is Annella Prisco, the Honorary President is the great poet Emiliano Scorzoni who died prematurely a few months ago, the International President is Hafez Haidar.
