From the renovation of schools to video surveillance, from projects for children to the strengthening of the administrative machine. There are three macro-areas that make up the extraordinary plan of interventions for the territory of Caivano, provided for by Article 1 of the Legislative Decree converted on 13 November last and awaited by the Council of Ministers.
A plan of about seventy pages prepared by the Extraordinary Government Commissioner Fabio Ciciliano, who in recent months has had a central role in coordinating Rome and the ministers and requests coming from the territory, making a synthesis after having listened to the associations operating in Caivano, the municipal employees and many people who were finally able to express their discomfort.
The first part of the plan concerns urgent infrastructural redevelopment interventions, relating to some buildings or to the sports centre, which has already started because it is expressly provided for in a paragraph of the law, but also to the theatre and to all those activities that can be related to the redevelopment of buildings or structures or even logistics, such as for example the logistics track of the Industrial Development Area.
This macro-area also includes video surveillance work in Caivano and in the area around Parco Verde, for the creation of a library for local children. The second macro-area concerns projects to reduce youth hardship and social vulnerability: among these is the “Polo 1000 giorni” project by Save The Children Italia, which concerns younger children, and aims to create a 0-6 Hub in the most vulnerable areas, involving children between 12 and 36 months in a daily educational service and those between 0 and 6 years in educational activities in the presence of at least one adult reference, with parenting support paths planned for parents.
Also in the pipeline are projects with the Red Cross, always aimed at young people. The third macro-area includes interventions for administrative strengthening, with competitions announced for 31 permanent positions, and for which yesterday the Minister of Public Function Zangrillo spoke of a record number of applications for membership, with 90% of the applications arriving from Campania and the rest from Lazio, Sicily, Calabria, Puglia and even from the more distant Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna; then there is the task force of 20 employees of the Ministry that Zangrillo has already installed in Caivano to support the action of the institution.
